Captain Kemény holds an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the Munich University of Applied Sciences and brings over 35 years of airline experience, including 16,500 flight hours and 7,500+ hours as an instructor. He is a retired Lufthansa CityLine A320 Captain and currently serves as a TRI/TRE on the A320, A340, and Embraer 190/195, with active type ratings including the Embraer Lineage Business Jet.
He has led major simulator projects as an acceptance pilot and previously served as Head of Training, where he specialized in developing safety culture and risk management frameworks. As a certified UPRT Instructor, he has received advanced training on platforms like the AMST DESDEMONA and Advanced Spatial Disorientation simulators. Captain Kemény is a Head-up Display (HUD) specialist with applications in flight operations and training.
Captain Kemény regularly collaborates with international airlines and organizations to advance pilot training and speaks frequently at global conferences, including WATS, APATS, EATS, RAeS, and Flight Safety Foundation events.
