Why do we do what we do at Presage?
At Presage, we use evidence-based approaches to collect data on the psychosocial factors that might be driving non-compliance in high-pressure environments within organizations, translating that data into actionable mitigations that bolster organizational safety culture and practice. We emphasize proactivity and help to expand your capacity to build and maintain a culture of safety by deepening your understanding of what drives people’s behaviours and actions, what impacts their decision making, and how that impacts your overall organization.
But why do we do what we do? Recently, we sat down as an organization to develop an answer to this question. In this blog post, we will share our "why" as well as the four pillars through which we approach every client project.
WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO?
At Presage, our goal is to collaboratively discover the pathway so that organizations and their people can realize their potential and achieve meaningful, positive, and lasting change.

• Test assumptions, challenge biases, identify drivers, and evaluate proposed interventions using rigorous scientific methods that are most appropriate for the task.
• Seek out new knowledge and new techniques to ensure that we are always using the best tools available for the job.
• Communicate findings in a way that makes sense to our intended audiences Shape a new collaborative idea of success; use the right tools to move towards it
4. We Nurture "Care-ism"
• Acknowledge that we are in “the people business”
• Recognize that we are all human beings with needs, wants, imperfections, and biases

• Ask the good questions and the difficult questions – listen to the responses
• We promote self-awareness, which encourages other-awareness
• We demonstrate and promote the premise that when people are cared for they are more careful
